Despite all of the long hair devotees that have chopped their hair off in the past year or two, the world was still completely thrown off base when Blake Lively appeared on the red carpet on Tuesday to support her new film, All I See Is You, and was sporting a blunt-looking lob. 

To share her new look with the universe, celebrity hairstylist Rod Ortega posted this to Instagram, clearly proclaiming “#haircut” in the post. However, it still had many questioning the authenticity of the job. After all, we have all been down this road before with other stars.

As it turns out, that speculation was with good reason! Yesterday, Blake Lively was spotted at LAX airport in LA with her long beachy waves back in full beauty!
Could this have been a test run before the real chop? We shall see…
